Festive Pie

Festive Pie

As we edge closer to the holiday season, many of us are pulling out old recipes to come up with some great dish. If this thought has been plaguing you, rest assured we have just the thing! Let us introduce, Festive Pie.

Festive Pie
·       1 Oreo cookie crust (premade)
·       1 Jell-O Instant Pudding (pistachio or red velvet)
·       2 cups of milk
·       1 cup of strawberries
·       ¼ cup of chopped kiwi
·       Red and green sprinkles
·       1 can of Reddi Wip

Once the crust is set in a dish, begin mixing the pudding mix and milk in a bowl. Stir by hand or with a mixer for about 2 minutes and 15 seconds. Once the good stuff is thick enough, pour it into the waiting crust. Place the dish in your refrigerator so it can set. Now, you can take a few minutes to wrap a present or find your favorite holiday music.

This is where the fun begins! You can really get creative here and make any picture you want with your fruit. Here, we’re making a ball shaped ornament but feel free to pick your own.

Place the strawberries in a circle in the middle of the pie and fill it in. Create a top to the ball with the kiwi slices.

With the can of whip cream, spray dollops along the edge of the crust. Try a test puff before carrying over to the actual pie to avoid a mess.

Finally, get the colored sprinkles out and shake across the entire pie, including the edges of Reddi Wip!

Now you have a fun, sweet dish to share are your holiday meal or party. Did you try Festive Pie? If so, let us know how you liked it in the comments below!
